Advanced Subsidiary AS

The technological revolution along with progressive tendencies has brought a number of adverse factors into human way of life, first of all physical inactivity and hyperkinesias, nervous and physical overload, occupational and domestic nature stress. All this leads to metabolic disorders in human body, predisposes to cardiovascular disease, overweight, etc.

The influence of external factors on health of a young organism is so large the internal protective functions of the organism are not able to handle them. The experience of tens of thousands of people, who have experienced the impact of such adverse factors, indicates that the best resistance is a regular physical exercise that helps to restore and strengthen health of the organism and to adapt to environmental conditions.

Physical exercises are of great educational value - they help to strengthen discipline, enhance the sense of responsibility, and the development of persistence in achieving set goals. This equally applies to all involved, regardless of their age, social status, profession.

Physical culture is a complex social phenomenon that is not limited to the solution of physical development problems, but it performs other social functions of the society in the area of morality, education and ethics. It has no social, occupational, biological, age or geographical boundaries.

Recently millions of people walked to and from work on foot, during production work they were required to use of a lot of physical strength, at home and in the absence of such familiar to us now washing machines, irons and other electrical appliances, the man had to do more to maintain cleanliness of the house.

Currently, the amount of movement during the day is reduced to a minimum. Automation, electronics and robotics in manufacturing, automobiles, elevators, washing machines at home have so much decreased the motoring activity of the people, that it has become disturbing. Adaptive mechanisms of the human body function as towards increase of working capacity of its various organs and systems (if regular exercises) and towards its further decrease (in the absence of the necessary physical activity). Therefore, urbanization of modern society inevitably leads to physical inactivity, and it is obvious that to solve the problem of increasing the regime of motor activity of people bypassing the physical training is impossible. The negative effects of inactivity affect the entire population, and require using all means, forms and methods of physical culture and sports to counter it.
